Day 1: Arrival & Mandara Hut

Begin your journey with a pickup from Moshi or Arusha. Travel to Marangu Gate, the starting point of your climb. Meet your guides, porters, and support team, complete registration, and attend a briefing about the trek and safety guidelines. Start hiking through lush rainforest with waterfalls, endemic plants, and birdlife, gradually ascending to Mandara Hut for your first overnight stay. Day 2: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut
